The Last Ferry
Greta captains the last ferry between the mainland and a small northern island. When an architect arrives to plan the bridge that would end her route, every crossing gets harder to leave.
Episodes
Greta takes the evening ferry out in a gale with one passenger aboard: Jonah, the architect hired to design the island bridge.
Jonah measures the strait from her deck all week, and Greta charges him full fare every single time.
A fog bank strands them mid-channel overnight, and they talk until a coast guard horn finds them at dawn.
The islanders vote on the bridge, and Jonah sees what the ferry means to the people who wait for it.
Greta prints the new timetable, and Jonah must decide whether his drawings still end with a bridge.
