Midnight Compartment
Two strangers share a sleeper compartment on the night train to Vienna. By the border a stolen necklace is aboard, and neither of them is who they claimed.
Episodes
Elise boards the night train to Vienna and finds her private compartment already booked by a polite stranger named Julian.
Police board at the frontier looking for a stolen necklace, and Julian’s bag is suddenly heavier.
A second passenger recognises Elise from a museum where she used to work, and asks too many questions.
The train stalls in a tunnel, the lights fail and the necklace changes hands in the dark.
At dawn Elise reveals why she was on this train, and Julian learns he was never the only thief aboard.
